王宁:美感穿插实践与日常生活的美感化

让音乐消费获得了前所未有的流动性和私密性,从而让听音乐这种美感穿插实践可以发生在外出流动的途中和公共空间里。显然,新型音乐消费工具的可供性是美感穿插实践得以发生的必要条件。

   要强化实践中的物质因素对实践进程的解释力,必须把物质因素作用于能动性因素的机制搞清楚。为此目的,实践范式可以借鉴源于生态心理学的“可供性”理论(它既不是物质环境决定论,也不是主观意志论)。物质因素对能动性的作用机制在于它仅仅提供“行动的可能性”。而从可能性到现实的转变,还取决于行动者的能动性。从社会学的角度看,新型的便携性和音响隔离性音乐消费工具为音乐消费者提供了一种不同于以往的“行动的可能性”。它让音乐消费者可以突破过去那种音乐消费的时空约束性,从而让听音乐的行为变成一种可以随时随地发生的日常实践。但音乐消费工具所提供的“行动的可能性”要变成现实,还取决于音乐爱好者的能动性(agency)。正是这些发挥着能动性的音乐消费者借助音乐消费工具,完成了对工具性活动压制自目的活动过程的逆袭:日常生活中的工具性实践,越来越被自目的性实践所穿插和渗透。美感穿插实践构成人们用自目的性实践制衡工具性实践的一种方式,相应地,人们的日常生活美感化了。
